Because TAD said so, I'm on a philanthropic streak, and someone left the "Add New Topic" button available on the Contests page, I'm starting one. Visit freerice.com and play the game. I'm offering two prizes, one for the most rice donated, one for the highest score. The prize for highest score is a cool coffee mug. The prize for most rice donated is a pound of coffee and a cool coffee mug. To play: Send me an IM with your daily rice donations, I'll keep tally and post a daily leader board. Send me a screen capture with your top score, and I'll do the same. Contest ends midnight on March 31, and I'll post the winners shortly there after. |

I did a little research, since counting grains of rice makes the whole thing a little tough for me to comprehend. On average, each grain of rice weighs 25mg, or 0.000025kg. Multiply that by Anarkey's score of 36,260 and that is .9065 kg, or 1.998lb of rice. Total, this contest has raised 2.279 kg of rice. Way to go, team EP!
